I am founder and CEO of Greater Advantage, a socially conscious coaching practice. Prior to launching my own business, I worked for some of the largest corporations in America in organizational and individual development as an executive coach and senior trainer. My biggest takeaway was top executives, in the largest organizations, often have exclusive access to the highest quality coaching and training. This revelation shaped my purpose and passion to level the playing field. I believe everybody deserves a greater advantage. Although that sounds like a wide net, I only work with purpose-driven people making a contribution to the greater good.
I leverage technology to give access to those who would not typically be able to afford traditional coaching. I created the Greater app and social goal setting community. I host and produce Work & Life Harmony podcast. I am the author of The 14 Day Experiment and Diversity Intelligence is the New Emotional Intelligence.
Everything I do is based on an empirically sound foundation and my love for continuous learning. I have a bachelor of science degree in employee relations with a multidisciplinary major in psychology, sociology and economics from Michigan State University. I received certification in executive coaching, strategic visioning, group dynamics and instructional design from General Motors University. I also completed diversity and inclusion continuing education from Cornell University.
COACHING IS LIKE A RETREAT AND SPACE TO THINK, FEEL AND TAKE ACTION
Research shows combining training and coaching increases your return on investment from 22% to 88% (Gerald Olivero, Denise Bane & Richard Kopelman, Public Personnel Management). When you apply coaching, you take action on your new knowledge and learn from both successes and setbacks. This action learning cycle gives you a greater advantage for sustaining success. My style of coaching is like a retreat and safe space to think, feel and take action. As a coach, I am your sounding board and a mirror to your thoughts, actions, feelings and environment. This feedback loop breaks self-sabotage and sets you up for success.
